Frequently Asked Questions...
Q. Are You Insured?
A. Yes, we have public liability insurance to the value of £10 million for your peace of mind.
Q. Are You Safe?
A. All our equipment is PAT tested (portable appliance tested) and we aways carry certificates with us.
Q. Will you play song requests from our guests?
A. Yes, but please understand that some songs will only be played at the dj's disgression. If the DJ feels its incorrect to play certain songs in the wrong type of environment he may let you or your guests down gently. The DJ is the one who will know what songs will work and what time it would be most appropriate to play them. The DJ's job is to fill the dancefloor or at the very least, provide the best party atmosphere for the occasion. If the DJ feels other people won't like or wouldn’t perhaps dance to the song you have chosen it maybe played at a more appropriate timel.
Q. Can I compile a play list?
A. It is perhaps a good idea to compile a list of, 15-20 songs, and let the DJ use his expertise to compile the rest of the music on the night, djs have a way of working round different types of music at certain times of the evening but your suggestions would give the dj an idea of the type of music expected. In the case of a 'first dance' song at a wedding, it may be an idea to inform the dj prior to the day or provide a cd of the recording in case the dj has trouble finding the more obscure tracks.
Q. How long does it take set-up and when do you need access to the building?
A. We usually take between 45-60 minutes to set up depending on the type occasion. the access to the building and other issues such as if there is a band on aswell. We ask for access at least 1 hour before the start of the event or before your guests arrive.
Q. How much do we normally charge?
A. This depends on the date and time, the venue access, and distance from home.
Q. Will you still be in business on our wedding day?
A. Yes we have been in business since the year 2000 and have a successful track record.
