Lofty the Lion, the Bolton Wanderers mascot, dropped by at recent gig. Dj Steve Lucas's attempt to get a song out of Lofty were in vain but one thing is for sure, the function was a 'roaring' success as usual.

The proprietor of OCCASIONS DISCOS is Steve Lucas. He will be responsible for providing your entertainment for the evening. His aim is to provide a personal service, catering for your specific tastes. He will be happy to discuss any particular needs or requirements to ensure your party creates the right atmosphere. Steve has been a mobile dj in Bolton and surrounding areas for over ten years and has the experience to get the party started and keep it going.

A few days prior to the function, Steve will phone the client to confirm all the details and to get any last minute requests or instructions. This gives the client confidence that the function will not be without a dj and that everything the client requires is taken on board and is fresh in the mind.

You can rely on OCCASIONS DISCOS to be at your function venue in plenty of time to set up all the equipment and be ready to entertain as soon as your first guests enter the room. Experience tells Steve most people prefer for him to keep the music's volume at a moderate level early on as at most parties, friends and families haven't seen each other for a while and need to be able to hear each other as they catch up on their news. Most people seem to appreciate this, others prefer him to get the party going from the off, in which case this can also be catered for. The choice is yours. Once the music is lifted in volume a notch or several, Steve is experienced enough to fill the dancefloor with the best party tunes around, new and old and more often than not, keep them on the dancefloor all evening. If a party is flat for whatever reason, usually due to a smaller number of guests, then Steve has a few tricks up his sleeve to get the most stubborn person on their feet and dancing the night away.
